Mayor Elect Sam Adams and Commissioner Sam Adams have appointed a 19-member task force to evaluate and provide a recommendation by next March to the City Council about Merritt Paulson's proposal to renovate PGE Park into a world class soccer facility and build a separate baseball stadium for the Beavers.  MLS to PDX was at the first task force meeting on December 9, 2008.  We will be attending every meeting and encourage all supporters of bringing MLS to PDX to show up in your green and white and let the task force know there is strong support from the community for this effort.
